bis were chemikal underground's first signings. This spiky pop trio, whilst not old enough to get served at a bar, had started playing shows way back in 1995. Their debut single, full of teen-pop stylings and inventive song writing, received wide critical acclaim. Soon Top of The Pops came calling and their second single ended up at #23 in the UK charts.

Their music is effervescent and catchy; fusing strung-out synths with disco beats and spirited vocals. The connoisseur's pop music.

The band currently feature in a childrens cartoon called 'BB3B' (BBC1 on Saturday mornings on Dick n Dom and Tuesdays at 4pm). The theme tune was written by bis and each episode contains a new song by the band. bis also perform the songs in cartoon form during each episode!
