De Rosa Enter The Home Straight...
For those of you who have drummed your fingers to the bone waiting for news of De Rosa's second album, we can go some way to alleviating your anxiety by letting you know they've booked into Chem19 in March with a mind to completing what is rapidly turning into their magnum opus. Producer Andy Miller has his hands full with Mogwai in February before he gets the chance to usher De Rosa's album into a state of completion.

De Rosa Begin Work On New Album
Our spies (well, us to be honest, because we spoke to Martin today) reliably inform us that De Rosa are well into writing the follow up to their spectacular debut 'Mend'. The band will be locking themselves away in Chem19 over the next couple of months to get the new album finished and if the tracks they've been previewing live are anything to go by it promises to be an absolute bona fide belter (was there too many b's in that last phrase?)

De Rosa are to set to release a limited edition 7" AA single featuring "Father's Eyes" and "Evelyn" from their acclaimed debut album "Mend". Hot on the heels of making it into MOJO's Top 50 Albums of 2006 and their high profile support slots witrh Arab Strap and Mogwai, De Rosa head down to London tonight (21st Nov) to headline Club Fandango's weekly event at Camden's Dublin Castle. De Rosa Join Arab Strap’s Farewell Tour & Plan Trip To Germany
Our very own De Rosa have been announced as main support on Arab Strap’s farewell tour in November. De Rosa will be accompanying Aidan, Malcolm and co. on each of their UK shows starting at Nottingham’s Rescue Rooms on November 1st. Aside from being the final curtain call on the Falkirk duo’s illustrious career, the tour will also bring De Rosa’s brilliance to the masses in the run up to the release of their second single from ‘Mend’ – an AA 7” featuring “Father’s Eyes” and “Evelyn” due on November 20th.
