Formed in 1993 and drawing on the psychedelic, eccentric influences of Beefheart, the melodic twist of the Flaming Lips and their own unique vocal stylings, Magoo are far more deserving of the praise currently being meted out to lesser bands of the moment.

Their debut album was hailed as a 'lost English pop classic'; their second album 'a national treasure'. You can't say fairer than that in our opinion.
